Hill-Lopes Scholars will have designated faculty mentors who will meet one-on-one with students, organize social and networking activities, and connect them to campus resources.
Mentors – serving two year terms – will be identified primarily from the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) faculty. Each mentor will host regular meetings with mentees, facilitate introductions and networking opportunities, offer informal advising support, and engage mentees in activities in support of their academic success. Students will have the potential opportunity to meet with the program donors once annually for mentoring and networking purposes.
